Marketing Lead

Background:

High performance robotic solutions are no longer limited to factories and warehouses, but are becoming more and more common in environments such as hospitals, hotels and homes. As robots operate in less constrained, more dynamic environments, spatial understanding is essential for reliable operation and intelligent behaviour. There are three levels of spatial understanding required to enable robust, reliable autonomy: pose tracking (localisation), mapping and semantics. Using vision as the core sensing modality, all three levels of spatial understanding can be combined to offer full stack Spatial AI, providing richer maps, robustness to change and greater adaptability to challenging, dynamic environments.

Who we are:

SLAMcore is a London-based startup founded by visual SLAM (simultaneous localisation and mapping) algorithm pioneers and specialists. With funding from top venture companies, we are developing breakthrough Spatial AI solutions for next-generation robots and other smart devices by harnessing computer vision, sensor fusion and machine learning. Our aim is to greatly reduce the time and cost for companies to deploy advanced robotic solutions whilst delivering performance they could never achieve on their own. 

Our vision for this role:

The Marketing Lead works with the CMO, Head of Product, and Engineering team with responsibility for the development and execution of all SLAMcore’s marketing activities worldwide. These activities include both online and offline activities covering messaging, collateral, feature selection, analysis, press, web, social and events.

The Marketing Lead will work closely with CMO to develop effective marketing initiatives to launch SLAMcore products, solutions and expand the business globally. This individual must possess a strong record of successful marketing/technology experience and be comfortable operating in a technology company and able to absorb new sectors and technologies. 

Operational knowledge of marketing tools and techniques (HubSpot/CRM, SEO optimisation, website analytics, social tools and others) is essential for this role.  
The ideal candidate will have experience marketing leading technologies such as robotics, AI or high-tech software to enterprise/OEM/SME technical and business decision makers, industry experts and channel partners.

How you will help:

  • Develop in-depth business reporting and comprehensive marketing analysis of activities.
  • Operate key marketing tools (HubSpot/CRM, SEO optimisation, Website Analytics, Social tools, online campaigns, SAAS customer tools and others).
  • Manage development and execution of the marketing programs - messaging, collateral, features, documentation, analysis, press, web, social media, online campaigns and events.
  • Plan, execute and maintain marketing programs via third party marketing automation tools (HubSpot etc).
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for meeting marketing targets (SAAS and Enterprise).
  • Work with external AR/PR/Web agencies for execution of activities where appropriate.
  • Participate in the presentation of media and campaign activities and plans, and ensure that program strategic and tactical goals are being met.
  • Report to the Chief Marketing Officer/Chief Commercial Officer.

The capabilities we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with successful experience in B2B marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and tool use in marketing programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Hands-on ability to work within a small business.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving results in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
  • BA degree required; product marketing and technology experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in product marketing and/or technology.  
  • Demonstrated success in executing technology marketing programs.
  • Ability to use marketing automation tools (HubSpot, SEO, Analytics, Website or others).
  • Proven ability to produce and deploy innovative marketing programs to SME/enterprise/OEM sectors.

Bonus points if you are familiar with / have:

  • Graduate Degree
  • Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and/or SEO
  • Robotics and software experience
